So I'm in the quest of trying to tighten up the car. I noticed the lack of response it has at highway speeds is a little scary, especially when you need to make a sudden move and avoid a pothole, roadkill, or some idiot driver who is about to crash into you. I just installed the H&R rear sway bar, and it did wonders for cornering - but not so much for the front and rear sway when you make a sudden maneuver. So I'm likely going to get the front sway bar, as well. But more importantly, I'm looking at suspension coil options again. So I have a few questions...

1) I've been reading about Eibachs and some say your camber will be out of whack for good, while others say that the drop isn't low enough and that a proper alignment from Audi will keep camber in check (even though camber adjustment is not possible on our cars, apparently). I need a bit more insight on this. Can I get some additional opinions from experience on whether or not this was the case for you and your Eibachs?

2) Some claim Eibachs drop 2", others say it's 1.2-1.5 like Eibach claims. I believe some of those with 2" drops have V6 coils (different front spring rate), though of course, I cannot be certain. Again, I ask for your experience.

3) Does anyone have pics of what the Sport Suspension looks like? And what the S-Line springs look like? Which is stiffer?

The best way to keep your car perfect is Drive as it came out of the factory.
Or if you want to the sporty look and better performance of C6 Chassis, get S6 or RS6.
Just my opinion from my experiences.

^^^ Thanks, that's helpful. But of course, I'd still like input from the C6 guys, especially the camber concern.

I have H&R coilovers, 20x9 ET45 with 265/30 Michelin Pilot Sports. I had the base suspension prior and do not have any issues with tire wear at all. I've driven my car several thousand miles. It's almost 3 inches lower than stock:

Hey nedrager,

Thats an awesome setup you have there. Wish i can have a low setup like yours but unfortunately, here in Jakarta, Indonesia...the roads are terrible and speed bumps are not according to the same stardard. Some are freakin pointy and high. Same with the parking structures in malls too. Some are ridiculously steep. So i can only lower my car till a certain extend. Im running on KW Coilover V1 and the ride is almost as nice as the original suspension. Hopefully i can upgrade to 21s so that i can lower the car more and close the gap from the fenders to the tires. Furthermore i'll even get more ground clearance. Here's a pic of my setup...

Arnold,

In regards to camper, i guess it depends on how far out your offset it for the rims. if it falls around the same position as the fenders, rubbing is not really of a concern. My car on the other hand have super aggressive offset and the rims stick out a tit bit from the fenders. Thus i have rubbing issues...nothing major tho.

Here's one with the factory s-line sports suspension. I love the height and wheels. I believe they are 19's.
