A/C runs but doesn't come out vents all the time?

Hey there, i have a 2005.5 A4 2.0 quattro and yesterday my passenger front window regulator went out so about to order from genuine audi parts from bill but before i do i need to resolve this A/C issue as well. For example my vent all work, window, center, and floor. The heat worked fine in the winter (when i bought the car) and now that it's summer my A/C is intermittent. If it's sent to cool to 70 degrees and it's under 80 degrees out it works. But if it's like 85 out the A/C runs and the blower motor is running but the vents close up and nothing comes out. My dash itself gets cold so i know it's running and fan speed adjusts but wont come out the vents. When i turn the temp level up in the car to about 78 or so, then it starts coming back out the vents. Anyone have any info that may help me get this fixed? I do have a VAG com and scanned it before with a fault on my recirculation relay motor which could be part of it, but hoping someone else has had this problem that can shed some light. Ok but you recommend to replace that recirculation relay that is coming up as an error in the VAG scan? And is that something the dealer does the recover and refill? Any idea how much that runs?

Nothing is wrong its just german engineerig at its finest

During periods of max ac (temp set at 70 outside temp At > 80 degrees for example) the system closes the top vents and opens the bottoms effectively pushing the hot air out of the top of tbe car (heat rises)

+1 Unless OP's vents never re-open. Hopefully they re-open after a minute or two.

Yeah They never open. Must need recharge.

Ordered the part for recirculation motor. Today it was 95 out and my AC would not come out the vents at all. So said im done with that and ordered it. Once it comes in if not working will take to dealer to recharge a/c since that's only other thing i saw someone recommend.

Replaced the recirculation motor beside the blower motor. Cleared the codes with VAG Com and boom everything works perfect and flap opens now. Issue was that it was sucking air from inside the car but the flap for inside was stuck closed since motor was not working properly. AC is cold as it can be and works perfect now. Thanks for everyone's help.
