Went out to Austin Monday and nothing spectacular happened but I did take this 25mph turn going from 290 away from Houston towards Austin at 55 I ended up drifting around the last part of the turn as I felt the backend of the card sliding. it was pretty awesome though. That's for sure.

Oh I Also got a warning for no front license plate in giddings tx, love that town. :D

My mods for handling / suspension isnt much but the good year eagles can handle about 55 in a 45 degree turn without breaking traction so I am very pleased with these tire in a dry scenario .

Raced, well kinda raced a m5 and a older 03-05 mustang tried to race me.

What crazy stuff have you done driving back and forth to a city?

craziest thing i have ever done driving on a public highway is the speed limit-which is what you should be doing, rather than trying to kill someone by driving like a jagoff.

you are definitely the coolest guy on the honda forums.

Speed doesn't kill. If traffic was light, conditions where good, and all that speed is not an issue. However the drifting part is but w/e. The limit of speed on rural highways (not sure about this one specifically) are set for the government to get easy money, that is it. Oh and to make hippies/epa happy.

Seriously looks similar to one of the turns I take and test my tires and setup =D
Although mine seriously looks more tight lol

Damn, that's fun!
Today on the way home, it was drizzling. I took a small pit stop to get gas.
On the way up the freeway ramp, there was a small turn. Pushed the ESP button to turn it off and smashed it for the turn, definitely did a little power sliding. So much fun

There was no one even close to me when I took this turn at the speed I did. I drive pretty moderate 98% of the time. For those of you who said I was driving like an idiot, maybe i was but try it yourself and leave the flaming to the other threads that need flamed.

Yea , good fun until you go under one of the 2 bridges right there and there's a trooper or Nassau cop sitting there.

On the way to Austin on 290 there are little to no cops until giddings then it's a lot of caps. Once out - you're home free again.

On the way home, as I was going 90 to pass a bunch of people, in the corner of my eye I saw a pick up truck merging onto the highway and span out, didn't seem to have any damages, but I got so paranoid right after.

Wait for the flamers to get pissed about you doing 90 mph hahah, I hate speed limits they should disappear except in highly populated areas and work zones. Obv weather/traffic permitting the limit of speed.

There is less traffic accidents in the uk because of the speed limits. I read this a while back

one time i was following my friend on an on ramp form our school to a bridge called the connector. its a good tight turn and then at the end of the on ramp it gets really tight. he was in a 335 and got completely sideways i thought he was done, but he saved it and ofcourse i was understeering like a bitch haha. we were going like 70 in the 40 ramp limit

We don't have speed limits from where I come from (Manila). People pretty much go as fast and as wild as their hearts want, and surprisingly you don't really see accidents due to overspeeding. A lot of people, myself included, go 120-140mph almost every day in the city. When I lived in Vegas though, my friend and I got busted doing 191 in a 60. That same friend got caught doing 170 in a 45 too.

Well I was bored and reading through the manual and saw that the top speed was 134. I was like well, this is one random ass number and I don't believe it, soo yeah did 134 down the highway passing cars. Could have died.

The best thing I've done is in my old A4 B6 I was driving on a motorway with a White M3 behind doing about 90 in the pouring rain. I went to turn off down a slip road but realised too late I was one slip too early. So went down the slip and back up the other side without slowing down and came out right behind the M3! Bet he wondered what I was doing!

When I was still living in Europe I had a trip from France to Denmark through Belgium and Germany, distance was 956miles, trip done in 9hrs and 45minutes...

It was in my 2001 A4 TDI[:D], it was chipped[evilsmile], It would doo 145mph then it was in the rev limiter in the highest gear[drive]

Needed only to refuel 1 time, I still miss that A4 TDI[=(]

HAHA what a tool.

He didn't even get the forum right /sarcasm [:/][confused]

I once raced an SI and we got up to 135. We were racing in a remote part of texas and then it broke down to one lane and there was a mini van in the single lane so he beat me only because I didn't have a choice but to break and slow down for the mini van.

I'm not condoning racing on the streets, but in all honesty, if it's just you and the other driver, and you're not being retarded and just driving straight, then I can't see how it would harm anyone/anything.

I too live in manila, well i used too. Lol so i know u cant drive that fast there coz of the traffic everywhere. And maybe u meant kph rather than mph?? Coz thats how we measure speed there right? Lol just sayin, not tryin to be a jerk!

DJ, there's only traffic when you're driving out when there's traffic. I for one have businesses at night and even if I don't, given a relatively quick car you can go 200kph when you want. I go almost 170-180 every day in Ortigas for one. My friend has gone a GPS verified 349kmh (218.25mph) in SCTEX in his RUF RT12.

Oh and I used mph so people can relate.

And for the non believers I'll just post the ticket, name and address blurred out for privacy of course. Car is a highly modified 996 Carrera (turbo kit). Unmarked car just stepped on it when we blew past him. And so yeah, driving solo he did a 175 in Tropicana......
