Rear over-head reading lights stuck on, Help!

For a while now my rear passenger reading lights have been stuck on. I did a stealth sub install yesterday, and now the lights stay on all the time, even when the car is off. I unplugged my battery last night to keep it from dying, but I have to be able to fix this.

Short term- pull the fuse: I looked it up and read that it should be fuse 14, but pulling that didnt kill the lights. Which fuse should I pull, and what else will I loose with it out?

Long term-VAGCOM? can this setting be altered with vagcom? Anyone had this issue before?

No, that cannot be changed in Vag Com. Is it all the interior lights or just the back ones? If it is just the back and nothing else is on the fuse, pull the fuse. Maybe try to find a new housing with switch because it sounds like your switch is bad.

yes it is just the back lights. the switches have no effect on them.

can anyone confirm if 14 is supposed to be the right fuse? I pulled it but it didnt help, and it must have been for the security system too because now my keyless remote doesnt work.
