Whats up everyone? After driving 2 a4s and them being in pretty bad shape I found a nice shell for a good price, the original motor was a 3.2 but it is blown. I would consider swapping the 2.0t in it if the price is right. Besides junk yards does anyone know a reputable place to get one in good condition?

You're looking for an FSI 2.0L motor - turbo charger usually comes separate in most cases. Since you're coming from a 3.2L, you may need a new harness kit and definitely need an ECU for a 2.0T application. As to finding a motor at a reputable place, the only place would be the dealership if you don't want to chance it at a junk yard.

Better off putting in the 2.7tt or maybe the 3.0t if your going as far as changing the harness

Thanks for all the replies, I'm not too informed about engine swaps but from hondas they usually come with the harness. So I would need a motor, turbo, and harness correct? Anything else I'd need? Thanks

I think he meant your suggestion of "Shokan?" Not your personal engine. But ?!?

Yeah if your going to get a motor/ harness might as well put something better than a 2.0t in it.

2.7TTsounds good or even a 3.0T
3.0t might cost a lot way more than the other one I think because it's really new.
might have to make it fit in the engine bay too for both engines ;)
But the power outcome is worth it if you play with it :D
