So after much pondering, i decided to use seafoam on my car. I bought two cans. One i put in my gas tank(phew that was easy). The other was actually the new one with the spray. The instructions said to position the small tube that came with it inside the throttle body and in front of the throttle plate. So i loosened the clamp and disconnected that really big hose near the pcv to the right of the engine. I inserted the tube and put the hose back on with the clamp. I followed the rest of the directions and got almost half of the can in there. I restarted the engine after letting it soak and the engine sounded rough for a few seconds then i throttled it up and it was fine. But now im stumped...wheres the damn smoke?! I thought there was supposed to be some kind of white smoke to be expected. I drove it hard but still nuthinnnn. what gives?! Car runs smoother though lol!

Your supposed to get the seafoam in the car while it's running... and I think you have to take off a vacuum line and suck it into the car. The bulk of the smoke come when the cars running and your sucking it into it. Need a buddy to either work the seafoam sucking, or the throttle so the car doesn't stall out

i had my dad hold the throttle at like 1600 rpms while i was spraying it into the throttle. i think next time ill go through a vacuum line instead of the throttle. I followed the instructions to the teeth and i didnt see the smoke.

... where there's smoke, there's fire.
Yep, I contributed nothing here, and I'm fine with that. [:D]

I would recommend the vacuum line, you should also change your oil asap!

Mine smoke a good bit, I used the IAT sensor hole, throttle body would actually be the best spot to do it from.
I used the spray can too, found I had to turn it upside down or it didn't spray good.

Hmm im starting to think it flowed down into the hose instead of up into the throttle...

How much of that adapter did u thread into the throttle body? I
Mean the red tube that came with the seafoam. I threaded about a couple of inches in there before i put the hose and clamp back on. Was that too much or too little?
