...and not for the cab, I didn't! The socket is the same but the faceplate is just different enough to not even fit properly. As I see it I have 2 options, cut and glue the filler plate to work with the socket, or try and find the RS4 Cabriolet's button that that spot is made for. Cheaper is to use the filler button which is probably what I'm going to do.

Honestly I don't know why you thought it would fit. Everything on the cab is totally different. Not even close

i know what youre SUPPOSED to use it for.. i just wanted to know what HE is using it for, i.e. radar detector, etc.

My homelink is on the fritz so instead of paying the $300 or whatever for the new unit I got this and hooked it up to my garage door opener which I stowed behind my radio.
