I just found out Ron has permanently closed VW Specialties as of May 13th. I was going to take him my Avant for spring and ARB install, he always did a great job for a fair price on my GTI. Anyone have some other shop recommendations, preferably in HB?

Not in HB but head up PCH and go to Raven Motorsports in LB.

I took my avant to VW first but Ron couldn't get an Audi tech to come in to work so I headed to Raven, best decision ever.
Brandon down at SMS Euro is pretty good, check them out:

You really should go to Pacific German in Lake Forest, Shawn is extremely nice and honest and they know there stuff as well anyone. Plus they build some really awesome Audis and VW's. definitely worth going down there and checking it out.

It's a good thing we are doing the OP a service by telling him to drive 45min south and right past a VW/Audi/Porsche specialty shop in his immediate area, not to mention a paid advertiser on here as well.

LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!
but yeah Au Tuning is the next closest shop in HB
four seasons tuning is in Orange, off the 55 and katella ,
that's the next "reasonable" place that i would recommend you go to
GMGRacing on harbor blvd is for serious hardcore so i can only suggest this if you are damn near race car status and the money doesn't matter

Indeed. Old thread is old. And we have a sticky up top for these sorts of posts.
