Just bought a CPO 2008 Avant today. I'm noticing that it seems to idle a little rougher than my 2003 did. Does the 2.0 idle less smooth than the 1.8??

My 2006 Idle smooth, no vibration at all. It depends on how healty your PCV is, carbon on your valves, quality of fuel used, spark plugs etc...

^^ yours is also a 6 speed. I sometimes shift into N when sitting at a stop...shoulda got stick

It kinda reminds me of the Jetta diesel I took for a test drive. I assumed it was normal because if it wasn't I wouldn't think it would've been CPO'd

My 08 avant idles perfectly at rest. There's no shudder at all. Not sure why this effects certain b7's and not others.
