Bought them a couple weeks ago, love them but I was missing the OEM+ feel..
I tried to go a different route (because Im lazy) and use Lamin-x instead of swapping original covers.

What about reverse lights?
I'll grab some more pics today or tomorrow, I didnt see any differences with or without the film, only issue is the reverse light which looks redish, Ill probably fix it using high density led bulb.

They look pretty good, but the lamin-x makes them look a bit 'muddy' for want of a better word - it masks the internals more. However, they do look good and I'm sure were not even slightly as annoying to create! [:D]
On those pics the lamin-x did not even cure, was barely 10mins after install, apparently takes a few days of hot weather to completly "melt" on the light. I'll try to take close up pictures, those are a little too shiny hard to see the tails properly.

Haha no. Phil is having issues sealing them and is waiting for a special glue from Europe for them. He said it would be a couple weeks before it shows up in Florida. So I'm playing the waiting game. Hopefully this glue can do it or else he's out of ideas and I'm effed

I ended up using red light repair tape to seal mine, then gently sanding the edge to remove the excess so you can't see the tape. Worked a treat & I've pressure washed the car with no leaks or fogging.

I like this...not a fan of the tail lights without the Lamin-X, looks too aftermarket. Might have to do this myself eventually...

My Lamin-X took a while for it to look like the way I had wanted it too, couple weeks of just sun/heat getting all the bubbles out and letting it cure, looks good though!

what does the "brake" light look like? Do the led's just get brighter or something? Im seriously considering this exact mod, looks so oem!
They get brighter and another led row lights up

Yeah they are red. Blinkers bright orange. Took pics on full auto, had no time to take proper pictures :P

I just recently Ordered Mine from Hidguy.net...just my two cents. You can hit them up and see if they have them in stock. Transaction went well with them and they got them out super quick. Might wanna try hitting them up.
