Hey everyone,

Im thinking of trying this on my piano trim that I have, because to be honest Im no t a fan of the piano trim. I have always had the dark would trim in my audi's in the past and I loved it, I just cant find any sets. So, that brings me to the 3M vinyl Carbon wrap. Not sure about this stuff, im really kind of picky and I want to try and make sure it will look clean before I buy it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
thanks

I've done my interior with the wrap... It's really easy to install and if you have to peal it off of the trim I've found no damage to the original finish. I know because I had to redo my panel after scratching it with a screw driver.

It's decently simple to install. I'm extremely picky and after having it on a few days I pulled it off and have decided to go with the stuff from ocarbon. The vinyl looks nice if you want to kind of go the cheap route but you can tell it's vinyl ya know. I guess it's one of those "you get what you pay for" kinda deals. Ocarbon full trim set is $500 but it's all real trim - vinyl will run $20-50 bucks.

If you go with the vinyl - get it off ebay - it's much cheaper than most places.

^this did the same thing, wrapped the whole interior trim, used a blow dryer to wrap around the corners nicely.. but then the first 85 degree day hit and I could see some edges start to peel. I'm ready to go with oCarbon.

I wrapped my whole trim and really liked it for the first 2 weeks, then I started seeing imperfections and couldn't handle it, Ocarbon is making me a set as we speak :)

Spending $500 on carbon fiber trim is a lot of money, but I personally think it is worth it. I've been running ocarbon trim and had to wait like everyone else and was worth the wait and the quality you receive from them is great. Most people are concerned with outside appearance, but neglect the interior where you spend most of your time. It's pretty badass when you glance down and notice your cf trim while you are driving, even more so when you enter your car and are able to take in the beauty of carbon fiber :D

CF trim & recaro seats = mandatory!

I did the same. It look cool for about a week then I started to hate it. Went with a diy brushed aluminum and love that.

Should I do some discounts for people with the fake stuff that want to upgrade to the real thing?

Email me at [email protected] if you're interested.

I'm saving my pennies for the real thing as we speak, can't stand the piano black trim in my car, shows scratches waaay too easily

The real stuff is gorgeous, but if you take your time and take pride in your work, then using the 3m di-noc will produce excellent results. im a believer :)

Don't wrap piano black trim. Sell/trade+cash your trim to someone that will use it and get some fake wood or aluminum trim to wrap.

smart feller, when the time comes I'll look for a trade + cash for some fake woodies, no one like woodies, except the few ppl posting to say they like woodies
