Stock Resonator swap to Magnaflow?

i've seen people delete the stock resonators. what if i put in a single magnaflow resonator? i'm looking for a cheap way to change the exhaust note. i've heard the resonatorless clips and wasn't too impressed. i'm not sure the magnaflow would fit i think its 4" round. anyone tried this?
