So I've been thinking of vinyling my roof in Matte Black/Gloss Black, and I also thought that doing the mirror caps in Matte Black/Gloss Black would match very well.

My question is,
Has anyone or does anyone know of someone who has plasti-dipped the mirror cap
or would I be better off to vinyl it? (thought it might be kinda tougher since the cap is all bendy and such)
I don't want to get it painted because in case I don't like it, I would want to return it to the original Quartz Grey.

A friend of mine plasti-dipped his mirrors and it turned out great! Its definitely a great option, depending on how good your skills are with the vinyl you may experience some difficulty with the curvature of the mirror.
