Anyone considering buying/upgrading their snub mount should consider the snub from audiup.com. First off, I was in contact with Tim from this company. Any/all questions I had were answered quickly. The snub mount was $30 shipped. They currently offer two different snub mounts - a Performance (green) model for lightly modified cars and a Race model for aggressive driver/higher modified cars. My car is currently only stage 2 but I opted to get the Race model. I ordered it on Friday and received it on Monday. I am no expert when it comes to cars but I believe if you can install a cabin filter in your car, you can do this install.

After installing the snub, I immediately found that shifts were much smoother and felt quicker. Instantly after shifting, the power seems to go directly to the wheels and is ready to take off again (no "bucking" of the engine). It feels like a different car. This is the first MT car Ive owned and I can tell you that I highly recommend this snub upgrade.

I just wanted to give this review as the company's support was quick and helpful and the product seems to work great so far. It is also cheaper than any snub mount I have found online.

The RED one looks better than the green one.
*Green one looks like it can crack (Like APR one)

Probably the same as the ECS Snub

Yea im not sure how the green one is or how it affects daily driving. I believe they are made "in-house" in a factory in Utah but im not too sure. I haven't tested any other brand snubs but this company seems new and I took a chance on theirs and so far (its been two days with it installed) I really like the way the car shifts now.

I'm about to find out. I was in contact with Tim on Saturday and placed an order for one of the Red Race Mounts. I placed the order around 3 pm EST and Tim immediately contacted me with shipping info. Yea he seriously shipped it out the same day. How freaking cool is that!! I will post my review of it once I get it installed.

Thanks again Tim.

Benefits auto or manual. The stock snub is made of foam material, the upgraded polyurethane offers more dampening and less slop on hard acceleration/ deceleration and in between shifts. The stock mount softens and breaks down over time. I would recommend replacing them at the same intervals you do your timing belt if using the stock mount... Tim contacted me about testing this product on my BT avant. I was running the apikol mount before and installed the race mount Tim provided me. I noticed a significant improvement and less drive train "slop". I would recommend the Audiup snub mount to everyone whether your car is stock or highly modified. Tim is super knowledgeable, he sells a great product and has great customer service.
