View Full Version : Extended Lug Bolts Ok Without Spacers?
I'm currently running 5mm spacers with 35mm lug bolts but am running into rubbing issues. I was thinking about removing the spacers and still running the extended bolts as they are the only cone-seated ones I have. Anyone with experience know if running bolts 7mm longer than stock with no spacers will be ok? Thanks in advance guys!

Sometimes bolts that are too long will bind and lock up the hub or in extreme cases can damage ABS sensors. A few mm is generally ok but 7mm may likely be too much.

Dang... that sucks as I only need to remove the spacer from the passaneger rear. Subframe is shifted so I rub only on that side. I was hoping it would be simple, it never is lol.
Another thought... anything wrong with running a spacer on only one side?

Just go to discount tire, and grab a set that fit. I bought a set of 20 from them, you may be able to get just 5. I'd call them to at least see if it's an option.

I have some standard size cone seat lugs but first did you remove the screw and tab at the top center of the wheel well that connects the fender to the fender liner

I'm rubbing only in the passenger rear but yes, I did remove the screws and tabs from the fronts. PM me more details of the bolts if you're willing to part with them.
Thanks for the help everyone!
