quick question for all you smart guys

will a jhm weighted b5 knob fit on a b7? i dont see why not but knowing audi who knows...
trying to figure this out and even looked on the site but nothing and tryed called and goes straight to machine.
so help me out guys, would appreciate it.

I believe even though they both use essentially the same 6mt... if you look at short shift kits available, they separate the b5- chasis from the b6/b7 short shift kits.. Nor sure why but it prob means they use a different shifter assembly or configuration? If I'm wrong feel free to correct me! Wouldn't hurt to try though lol

im curious because on the jhm website all the weighted knobs just state that they fit on audis and vw's. but you have to go into specific categories to choose them but regardless i dont see why it wouldnt isnt it universal?

i read that the b7 is clamp on and b5 is screw on does that really matter? the screw on weighted knob wont be able to work with my oem b7 shifter?
