Hello all, so glad I can finally post this thread!

Many of you may know I've been on here for quite some time.
Some history,
First Quatrz gray B7 2.0T tip.
Got her back in Feb, 2009

Then one day I'm looking on autotrader to see if our b7's are depreciating anymore than they already have and came across this beauty,
Many of you know this car from it's previous owner, Joe Zajizek aka Juggernaut201...

I knew I had to have her, got in touch with Joe learned all the specs of the car, traded in my quartz for this beautiful new Brilliant Black 6MT

I've decided to go with a Unitronic tune and I'm hoping to have everything in and running by next week.

I'll eventually get drop in rods, rod bearings and a lpfp and hopefully call it a day for my wallets sake haha.

Well if your using the revision d dv, according to several members the ATP adapter doesn't fit! U need the awe one or the ecs one for the s3. The ATP one leaves a gap, u will still build boost but not very well or hold it

Ok I called Danny and my relocator is custom made by mark at autospeed. Looks similar to the ATP but with no leaks.

Right on! I've heard that mark will take an ATP flange and mill down the mating surface so that our dv work

Little update... I'm going to AMS Autowerks today so Diogo can order which gaskets I need.
I'm hoping he can get everything by tomorrow, and if so we'll get everything in and tuned. If not we might be looking at Friday for the install.

I would actually choose to have a Gray over my black nowadays, but congrats on making it look a whole lot better than when you bought it. Car looked bleh but you added a nice contrast to it. Most of all you're adding a lot of oomph to an all show car. Thumbs up!

oh I hope that works out for you, something new is always good!
b7's are still so new to stage 3, we can use all the help we can get. Then again there's no enthusiasm on going BT in the b7 forum (Compared to the b5/b6 forum), all the stage 3 threads have the same people commenting on them.

Another little update:
I went to AMS today and he's gonna order me the manifold gasket and the 5bolt gasket for the hot side.
He's going to fab me a 3 inch test pipe from the turbo to my awe downpipe instead of using the 2.5" HFC included in the kit... Big turbos need to breathe!

I'm aiming for Tuesday May, 17th for the install and tune.

So I was missing some oil/coolant fittings which I had to go out and buy at the store.
That delayed the install a bit.
Also, I'm getting a custom 3 inch testpipe and downpipe put in (the older awe's had 2.5 inch downpipes I'm guessing...?) gay.
We're also waiting on unitronic to send there updated tune (whatever that is)
So everything should be in and tuned by tomorrow! can't wait.

Very interesting project you have there BTW! AMS Autowerks are great with these custom projects ;-)

To let you know, your A4 is currently equipped with an old software revision. We always provide the most updated file the same way the dealer does when they do their ECM updates. The Ecu ID remains the same but software # and revision changes due to some updates they (Audi) made. The BT file was not available on the spot for the latest software revision so we need to process the request. We'll do everything to make this happen today. Diogo will keep you updated.

Congratulations! Hopefully it's just plugs, you'll find that copper plugs are best but don't last more than 5000miles there are better solutions out there as well ngk... There's a thread about which plugs are best , also could be the tune adapting?? Good luck, Lavi at Unitronic is helping me get a file sorted. Not the first choice I wanted because of $$$ but in terms of service they are leagues ahead of most of the tuning companies I've worked with thus far. I may never get that REVO 3071r tune, hopefully my source can pull a rabbit out of a hat, (or a tune out of the uk) lol before I drop the dough on uni

Yeah, Unitronic really came through for me and man does it pull, even with the misfires haha.
I'll ride it out easy. Diogo has spark plugs for me, I'll swap them in and see if that's the problem.
It could very well be the tune adapting, I guess I'll find out.

I have the same problem. I got apr stage 3 installed and now It misfires at wot. Went to the dealership and got new coils and ECM update. They wiped out the APR software so I'm waiting to get it reloaded. Hopefully it will finally run like it's supposed to.

I started misfiring at wot for awhile, I pulled the plugs and found that they were not gap'd correctly. Gap'd em and haven't had a problem since

I'm using the side firing plugs from Vast, so far they have been great it even smoothed out the power delivery...

Ok, well here's a pretty shitty video of me trying to hold the camera, the steering wheel, and change gear all at the same time... God help me lol.
I shifted into 3rd way too early because I couldn't really see the tachometer so I judged by engine noise. This gives you an idea until I can get some good videos up.
Tonight a G37 sedan asked to race, did a 20-70 mph pull and even with his jump start, I got a car length on him
Lower the volume, I didn't think to turn off the radio when I did the pull lol.

Small update, I've been overboosting like crazy these passed 2-3 weeks so finally I went to long island to my friends shop and tried to find out what was wrong.
We did a pressure test but found no leaks, then he thought it may have been the 710N diverter valve not being able to keep up with the 3071, so I replaced it with an 034 DV. That didn't help the problem but its an upgrade none the less. We used a MBC he had laying around to bypass the N75 and that definitely did the trick. I ran to SK Speed and picked up a Forge MBC and everything seems to be running great.

What did you set your MBC to btw & are you experiencing any “partial throttle” since you bypassed the N75? I think “partial throttle” is the phrase I’m looking for, meaning is your boost like a light switch now? Either you are full boost or none at all when you touch the throttle

I set her at 20.5-21 psi. She can run reliably till about 23 but I see no need for it as of now. And no, not at all... boost comes on like usual except it peaks/holds where it's supposed to.

I didn't but similar set ups got ~325-350 awhp... You can ask kristokes if he dyno'd since he now has this turbo on his car.
