i have it exposed to the timing belt to i noticed oil in the intake on passenger side

also what is the recommended turbo upgrade for a stock engine

These engines do collect oil in the charge piping but it depends how much. You can inspect the turbo for signs of damage or blown seals.

turbo upgrades all depends on your over all goal, uses and budget?

Check the oil lines to the turbo before you replace the entire thing... Is it making any noise when you start it up? Like a dentist drill?
