open hood warning light

My car just started flashing the open hood warning light on the DIS, but my hood is closed. Any ideas on what it might be?

Loose connection or faulty switch would be the most likely cause - have a look around the hood latch area.

I had the same issue when I first purchased my car. Took it to dealer and it was a faulty switch on hood latch; they replaced during warranty period

hood latch ,the switch is built in replaced mine a month ago about 70 bucks from the dealer
