Damage on my car is a ton worse than her car. I need a new hood, one new headlight, new bumper, and the emblem piece. If anyone has and can sell me for cheap, it would be much appreciated.

Her car, 5 day old Buick Enclave needs the bumper touched up and a new trailer hitch cover.

On the bright side of thing though, this might be my excuse to upgrade to a carbon fiber hood!

A carbon fiber hood is never an upgrade unless you plan on tracking the car, it just screams poser, but thats just my honest opinion which you're more than welcome to take with a grain of salt.

But the true question is, what lead up to the accident?

Unless your car is silver

haha i went carbon fiber and took it to the track a few times and well needless to say the clear coat is all pretty much gone....but it still looked good when it was on it. depends on personal style though.

3M invisible car bra is very much worth the investment to protect the finish of your fresh paint, cf hood, or just rock guard protection in general.

I uses to have cf on my Eclipse and I loved it.

The accident happened cause I'm getting over a cold and was coughing up a lung and when I stopped coughing there was a stopped car in front of me.

It's like a thin Lamin X for the entire front of the car.

Try a vinyl or tint shop

I did that once, and only once. I was in a Jeep Cherokee and plowed a Mazda 3. Scratched my front bumper, caved the rear lift gate in on the 3. I was coming up to an intersection with a right turn yield, the 3 stopped so did i, there was no one coming so the 3 went to go, I rolled forward and looked left to see if it was still clear and BAM. Best of all, there was still no one coming. Why he stopped again I dont know.

...then it got even better... I cant remember but there was either 7 or 8 people that got out of the 3, it looked like a damn clown car. There was 2 if not 3 in the front, 4in the back, and it had 2 kids (ages about 5 &7) in the trunk UNDER one if those roll out privacy covers (cause its a wagon).

Now, no body gets the benefit of the doubt. Lesson Learned.

You would still need new clear coat but this will protect the clear coat from going bad

Carbon fiber hoods is not a waste. It if for weight reduction, on an already heavy vehicle. I want a carbon fiber hood, but want to get it painted to match the vehicle.

I know, I wasn't asking for opinions I was just stating that this was a perfect reason to get a CF hood like I've wanted to get since picking up the car.
