Used to be a Fidel's but I think it is still owned and operated by the family (son). I haven't been back since the name change because I thought it was gone completely...but I found out about it last time I drove all the way down to the OG Fidel's.

Anyone interested in checking out Stone Brewing Co. afterwards? It's a hop skip and a jump from HRE. They have tours on Sat, but I guess someone will have to go early or maybe call in to get tour tickets for everyone. They give out free samples of their different beers if you're 21+ =)

I just Google Mapped the distance and time from HRE Wheels to Stone Brewing and it's a 9.3 mile drive which is about 15 mins driving at Grandma speeds. It's just a hop skip and a jump on the 78 East.

If, and it's a big IF, I do go I'm with Max on the food thing. I've heard of this place and I'm very intrigued. I might even bring the chef!

:: however, if I'm in Simi this weekend it won't happen as it's nearly 140 miles to HRE from there!

Don't worry my friend, they have a Bistro that is open from 11AM to midnight. I've heard a lot of good things about their bistro from my friends. Too bad we're not going on Sunday (6/5/2011) because they have this:

went from about 12:45 til 2:30

pretty dope... missed on some stuff it seems but glad I got to make it out. was kinda lookin forward to Fidel's but didn't see Max I don't think... saw fusion and some people flee off though

Ahh didn't even see any of you guys! I got there at around 11:30 and I was surprised that it was pretty much over by then. Still fun though!!

I saw about 6 Audis bounce out at the end, in a couple of groups. One group with a C6 A6 and a B7

and thanks Dan! I'll have just a few more I think... spent more time learning how to use the camera :D and also I guess there weren't as many cars left after 1pm

I wish I got some pictures inside the factory...too mesmerized by the cars.
Pretty sure we saw fusionx and a twin matte GTI parked behind him along with those tow trucks as we were leaving.
I rolled together with Brian, Kirk and Keith took his bike along with a friend of his. Saw Tina at the event and that was it.

Tina's car was parked right in front the whole time and featured in their catalogs...but again, I want to see pics of the factory..it was about the wheels, not our cars.
