I'm replacing the pads and rotors and I am having trouble compressing the pistons so that I can reassemble them. I've been through two compression tools and they don't seem to do a thing. Am I doing something wrong? Should it be this difficult to compress them? HELP!!!

You need to both press and rotate the piston back into the caliper housing. This is an example of the the tool I use.
Brake Caliper Piston Tool (http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B6_S4--V8/Braking/Tools/ES9747/)

many pistons have to be turned while applying pressure. Thet screw back into the caliper, and no sammount of force can push them straight in.
