I need a new armrest, or atleast a new latch because the one on my 2006 A4 is broken. Also, the aluminum trim on the drivers side door is pretty scratched up. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place where I could get either of these parts.

P.S. have you tried looking up part numbers at all?

part number for the door trim is 8E0.867.409, the color code will depend on what type of aluminum trim you have.

I have the same issue with my armrest. I cant stand it up or else everything falls out to the back seat.

Let me know if you figure out a solution. I remember i checked at audi and it was ridiculous.

I had the same problem. I took a small strip of black metal banding from work and stuck it to the inside front of the lid with loc-tite. I glued 2 square ceramic magnets to the front of the compartment so that when it's closed it just touches the metal band. Sort of like kitchen cupboards. It holds really well and doesn't look super ghetto
