Anybody replace their 'filter housing' ? (Mysterious leak)

Did anybody here ever have to replace their filter housing?
I'm getting some weird accumulation at the bottom part of the housing but when i cleaned it up and checked it before putting new oil in, it seemed, sort of fine.....but i still have my doubts and I'm planning on getting one for the next oil change. I also have a feeling that it might be the portion that the filter "screws into" but idk how the hell that's replaceable....

Gasket eh? I need to find images of where exactly that "gasket" is.

I'm guessing you dont mean the "seal" that comes with the filter itself, correct?

If I'm not mistaken, I'd be referring to a gasket that connects the filter housing to the engine itself. That's where it's leaking from right?

You mean the top part the filter "housing" screws into right?
It would make sense if it was coming from there and just sliding down and accumulating at the bottom.....would have to look into it somehow....kinda tight there lol
