Is that a Cupra R lip with the Votex Splitters? and what grills are those in the foglights?
LEDs look amazing. I gotta talk to phil one of these days.

You installed something wrong !!! and the driver side seems to exceed the maximum LED voltage capacity! Not sure they will last if left as is.
This is the risk when you decide to do your own install

Phil,
I sent you an email about this and this was your response
"Remember that everything is hand made and what you are seein is a LED not exactly in the same exact direct than the other.
To confirm that, take a piece of paper and put it 1 inch in front of the headlight. You will probably see that the beam is aimed ither higher or lower.
These LED are really bright and due to this fact the viewing angle is narrow. Nevertheless, if you look at the led, like you are supposed to, from 20 feet away, you will not see this behavior anymore"
You did not say anything about me wiring it wrong. I think if I wired it wrong, they would not be working at all. When I get home this weekend, I will take a look at the wiring again and also take pictures of it to verify that they were or were not hooked up correctly.

I bought the car with the Votex kit installed from Audi. The splitter is a CF deval splitter. I really like it and most people do also because it's a rare combination. The Fog grills are the OEM rs4 grilles. I also have the grill in my rear Votex spoiler. This is to get ready for an RS4 front grille

I expect criticism every time that I post. I appreciate any feedback. To each their own.

Next time you ask a question, be more precise:
I understood "brightness difference" between LED on the same strip, i.e my answer.
Email me because there is definitively something wrong on the driver side

im as confused as you are, and the rs4 mesh in his front grills looks too big of a honeycomb pattern? and not like oem rs4 grills (the ones you mod to fit)

First off, you need to angle your valence a little lower. You are not helping yourself having it that vertical (kinda defeating the purpose).
Second, either lose the splitter or lose the chins. Looks horrific.

I assure you that the RS4 grills are OEM since I was the one who cut it out of the OEM part and installed them. Here's a picture from another member. Only difference is that my car is a not an s-line.

I like it vertical. I would not like it angled down. I am not driving my car to any point that I would require the "added" g-force to keep my car planted...I'm pretty sure 95% of the people with a front splitter do it for looks more than functionality. It is strictly for looks...and you don't like it...point taken...it's my car...

Added g-force? The fairing is to help reduce noise and air flow, so that the air is blown up and over your rack. Not through the middle of it all.
Of course it's your car, glad you understanding to take criticism. [>_<]

He is talking about his splitter, not roof rack fairing.

They were oem bi-xenon's. I'll repost pictures with the lights on this weekend. I have 6000k bulbs in there....not too sure what I should do with the fogs now. They are way off in color. I might do 3500k hid or yellow ions....I know most people cringe at the thought of HID matched bulbs in the fogs.

ok...I got confused here....so I would love for the Roof Rack Valance to be more horizontal, but the way it attaches to the rack and the height of the rack doesn't allow me to do so. I really haven't looked into how to address it....

my apologies good sir, from the angle's you posted, they looked entirely too big. tho its still hard to see because its somewhat dark in your pics. the one you posted of another member's car looks good though.

I am doing it on mine currently, I am using the aero clips from the Thule fairing.
Basically, you wrap the clips around the bar but leave the clips only mounted on the back of the bars (so you would leave the front section of the aero clips just resting on the front of the bar).
And then adjust the fairing so that the adjustment hinges sit straight (that way there is no bend in the fairing clips keeping it from sitting vertical)
I'll try to snap some close up pictures for you.

I think out of all the posts ive read on here, this is the only complaint about Phils LEDs.....Did you install the strips yourself or just hook them up yourself?

It's nothing on his work....it may be an issue with my own car or my wiring...I'm gonna double check it this weekend....Phil has already addressed this via email and is sending out voltage regulators which may help with the brightness difference....
