Ladies and Gents, I know this has got to be the most Heart breaking thread on this section. I might have posted my car a few times on here , I was appreciating the love I was getting and loved the compliments from the enthusiasts from all over. The car was garage kept and never seen winter, the reason of its total loss. The garage's roof collapsed and totaled the car, Bent the pillars, hood, trunk, busted every window, ripped my interior and hit every panel , ringing up the cost estimate for 38k to fix. Geico totaled it and paid me for it even though they did not give me a cent back for my mods which are over 23k . I loved dubbin, I love Euro and I will stick around, keep up the Euro scene alive, I lknow I always will be. cheers

It was 12k to buy it back, I didnt want the headache of keeping it since i live in an apartment in NYC, Im not so good at parting stuff therefore It woulda needed alot of time from me and im a busy man. I took my RS=4's powder coated with Pzero Neros the second best times Pirelli makes . The wheel set up cost me $6200 , Im selling those wheels and tires for 3500. The tires are 500$ each and have literally 95% tread on em. What did you want exactly?

I also had a CUSTOM made for me Miestershaft GT2 exhaust with flapper mode with 3 tunes, Gllardo, sport, and comfort.

I paid 7k for the exhaust. Car is already picked up by geico with 25k in mods.

I am really, really, really sorry for your situation. Just looking at the picture is heartbreaking enough. I'm sure when the time is right you'll be in something just as nice or better. Good luck and hope to see you back in the game!

The pain I got reading this - Mmmmm, kinda like a stitch... I probably wouldn't have come out of my apartment for a week... Like my wife always sez, it's only a car (pftttt, what do they know)... But one door closes behind you and another one opens...
A little cumbersome, but I always keep the OEM gear that I replace on my cars (they have there own little corner of the shed/studio), especially for the prices of tuned upgrades on the Audi's... At least that way I can strip/refit for $$$ recovery given unforeseen circumstances... But sometimes this is not practical for everyone...
Go hard, live the childhood dream and get another A8/S8 MONSTER...

That's too bad. Note to anyone else that this happens to. Post this sort of thing EARLY!!! I have a set of cheap rims and bald tires I would have traded if you had time. Insurance companies don't need good parts on a totaled car, especially if they're not paying you for it. Don't get greedy, and you can benefit all the supporting members of a forum like this. Now, how much do you want for the tail lights?
