About a year and a half ago, I took my Audi to the snow and performed my first snow donuts as soon as I found a suitable parking lot. Like the dumb**** I was, I was too lazy to take off the chains, so as you can probably guess while shredding an intense amount of fresh pow my chains ripped off and scratched part of my fender, as well as gashed into the pad wear sensor harness, making it inoperable displaying a constant warning light. I read that you can short out the connector on the car side on the error will go away? I don't care about having that feature, I'd rather just not have that error!

Yes there are only 2 wires so just strip them and short them together, put some electrical tape over it and it'll work. Did it on my a6

Thanks!
So will this disable my other pad wear sensors or just the one I plan on working on?

do it both the fronts, if 1 out of the 2 pads are worn, itll kick the light, so I'd just short both sides together.

I have brand new Stoptech pads so wouldn't one light coming mean the other is bad as well?
