Hey Guys-

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with GMG Racing? I want to get them to install an exhaust but have read 1 or 2 bad reviews on them. Would it be worth driving all the way to EuroCode to get this done? Thanks!

yes - exhaust is not something worth taking to GMG - unless it's Ferrari exhaust... $$$.

As for the others...

If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all...That being said;

Not to thread jack but does canyon racer do basic oil changes too? Was considering taking it to Eurocode because of there free labor right now but not sure if I should do it myself..

Mike at Canyon Racer ftmfw. Gmg is great though, a little overpriced for the common folk though. I'll go to them when I buy my gt3.

GMG is nice but they are used to dealing with very high end stuff...Their facilities are amazing and it would be worth it to go just to see it. Basically overkill unless it is just your local shop that you always go to or you are going with one of their World Challenge setups...They handle Stasis/Champion stuff and I think some other tuner stuff like AWE or APR as well.

Guys

First off, thanks for the kind words about what GMG offers.

I wanted to clarify a few things, despite the fact that some may think we are over the top in terms of prices we are not:

Are we the cheapest place in town based on price? No... we aren't and we have never tried to be. But, we will always work with you and offer work that is fairly priced. Can you compare that to the prices that a hole-in-the wall shop can do things for? No.

You can't have a guy doing work for 15 bucks an hour and charge 70 bucks to do work for long.. Its just not a good proposition.

We do offer the highest quality service at a very reasonable price for the work that we do.

We are generally less than the dealer and offer more specialized work at GMG then a dealer could provide and certainly more than most shops can. In addition, our work is fully backed by a company that is established (GMG). When you come to GMG you get more; you get the reassurance that we will be here to back up our work.

There will always be someone who can do it for less but what happens when things go wrong? Many of you are often left dealing with the disaster. We have had several of these issues come to us over the years and we have to fix other shops mistakes.

And while other companies are pricing themselves out of business we are actually growing because people understand and appreciate quality and value for there money.
Its obvious that people with 200k dollar cars trust us to work on them. Why? because we know what we are doing.
You don't see those cars at other shops for many reasons.

To further that, we are growing from 15,000 sq ft to 30,000 sq ft next month and will be housing engineering, fabrication and more. We are always here to help and advise Audizine members of what the best offerings in the industry are. I am always here to help and our doors are always open. Come by... there is no charge to look :) I think once you see the facility the level of cars we work on and the level of work we do the choice will be very easy.

My whole in the wall shop has great pricing and he's just a one man show. I take pride in helping him keep the lights on. BUT when the day comes that I am able to purchase my first Lambo or Ferrari, I know its time to come to the professionals.

GMG, you'll have my business one day :)

The guys at EuroCode are friendly from what I can tell so far... though was not told about any free labor when I dropped by the other day. I've learnt the best way to do realistic jobs is to simply do it yourself, no matter how inexperienced or uneducated you are, there's always area for learning. With GMG, I would assume with the dollar you're paying, the customer service would be of top notch quality. I've always wanted to stop by GMG, pick something up and check out the place.
