No sir they are race springs. I like the 19's but I j just sold the 19's to pick up a rare Set of wheels I have not seen on an Audi in years! I don't like wheels that everyone has (rs4 reps). That weak shit is played out

Lookin' good Nico; big fan of the Avus wheels [up].
Ride height is nice and conservative seeing as though it's your DD now. (No scraping of that DTM front.)

I'll be in the same boat then. If they really blow like people claim, then i'll be getting something decently soon. i've already put about 800 miles on mine.

The Eibach Pro-Kit springs dropped me about 1.5 inches in the front, and my S-Line shocks are still good 20K miles later.

exactly, it all depends how u drive. If your careful and avoid huge potholes n stuff then they should last you a long time.

I have been lowered on stock non s line shocks for 15,000 plus miles with perfect ride quality.

I've had mine on for well over 8k miles and they ride just like they did when I first installed them, they are sports but I doubt that tiny bit makes a difference. I also drive my car like I stole it all the time.

So I'd just need to order two of piece #6 "spring seat lower back" and I'm all set? Thanks again. I'm still a n00b at all this.... But audizine has helped a great deal!
No, only the fronts work for our cars, and the point is the even out the front and the back, so if you did the back, you'd theoretically be back to the initial problem.

Show me where you got your facts from? There is people that ran NON-SLINE shocks for over 20,000 miles. Yes 20,000.

Correct, I understand that but he's saying that is the part I need? Whats the correct part number I need for the caps in the front?

this guy speaks the truth, while it puts a bit more of a strain on your OEM shocks there is nothing seriously wrong with running aftermarket springs on stock shocks.....all its going to do is put a little bit more of a strain on the OEM shocks and therefore may result in a decrease of life but def not that severe
think if stock shocks lasted on average 60,000 (and im using these numbers purely for comparison and i made them up...so there) and u put aftermarket springs on, expect the life of the shock to be around 45-50,000 miles
nothing crazy like 1000 miles and blown....that tells me your shocks were on the way out before you put ur springs on

Did anyone else notice that with the lowering caps that the rubber piece that sits in between the spring and the cap itself sits really funky for two oem parts being on top of each other??

It sits a bit differently but it doesn't affect anything, I've had my caps on for well over 8K miles now with no problems, many others for a lot longer.
