Who's had one? I loved mine, one of the best cars I ever owned....1985 4000S Quattro

Bought mine in 1996...and I drive it 90% of the time! If you're good to her, she's good to you. Just gotta keep up with little maintenance issues so they don't turn into BIG issues. All in all, my most favorite car ever.

Me too. I got it from my stepmother (a long time ago), it was 2 years old with 10,000 miles on it. I put 100,000 miles on it in two years, driving from LA to Montreal and then to Vancouver (awesome through the snow in the Rockies), back down to LA and then to and from Utah twice a month. It got stolen and I was crushed. I will post pics!! Yours is gorgeous man. I had Fittipaldi rims on mine and it was red....God I miss it.

Thanks! I call her a "GFFBFFG" which = good from far but far from good. You could always buy another one...they're pretty cheap now...

I have an 1986 4kq. love it. 16" TSW Hock's on it now. Hakkas in the winter. The thing goes thru anything i want.
I have a full 5000 MC1 setup waiting to go in when i get around to it.
Its soo much fun to spin that thing in the snow.
Id have to say the 4kq is more fun to drive in the snow than my turbo VR6 Corrado is on a nice summer day.

Get another 4K. The A4 is going away pretty soon (hopefully I am going to make enough money to get the RS4) and I still miss my 4K so much. No way I can drive that far, but I have a friend in PA who I haven't seen in a while and may stop by....

The 4kq is what first started my Audilust in 85'. They are great cars! Bulletproof engines, bulletproof quattro system!
