Can someone help me? I've been trying the DIY for replacing my cam follower but find myself stuck on removing a hose pointed in the pictures below. It seems that my car (A4 2.0T 2007) doesn't use that banjo bolt... That is I can't find it. Anyway, is there a special tool that can help me remove the hose that is being clipped by this metal thingy... The space is very tight, and I can hardly stick a pliers on that area. Thanks again!

I did mine with a screw driver, but that was in a different location with the same hose clamp. They are a pain.

That's what I'm thinking.. it will be a pain! Thanks! Maybe someone in the forum will have tips and tools that I can use.

Just try it with a screw drivier to get one of the sides lifted up off of it, and then just pull it back enough so that you can get it off all around.

I removed mine from the other end of the hose... Much easier to get to with pliers.

You don't have to remove the hose to get the the pump out...

what he said, just remove the other fuel like and you should be able to remove the pump just enough to get at the follower and replace it.

Thanks you all! I'll try your suggestions. From what you are all saying, it might not be too difficult. I'll keep you all updated.

UPDATE: Like makav3li and DJ Carl said, I didn't have to remove the hose at all. I can lift the pump just enough and get the cam follower. Thanks again!
