I am looking at some all season tires with 16inch rims on the for the sole purpose of putting them on to take to the snow. I do not have a BBK so that wont be a issue but all the seller has stated is the tire size is 205 55r16. Will that fit in terms of brake clearance. Thanks

All depends on the wheels I would think. I am running a 16" winter setup and they clear make brakes fine.

Yes, its a snug fit with a 2.0 tsq sportquattro which has the bigger brakes. But it'll still work, i have that setup on my studded winter tires.

Our cars actually come with 16" wheels depending on package or whatever (think vbrad had some?). I'm sure you could scoop up a set of the OEM 16's for really cheap and it'll be guaranteed fitment.
