My boost used to hit 11psi in every gear then slowly level off to about 7 at higher rpms. Now in first gear it hardly hits 7 before it levels off to 5, 2nd hits 10 but will level off to 5 by 5krpms about the same with 3rd and 4th and fifth gear will hold 10~11psi all day. I have no idea what has happened, no cels or anything and the car still runs great. It ran fine before winter, during winter and now that it has warmed up to about 50F-60F I have these problems and I miss my car!

But the boost holds fine in 5th gear, I don't know how it could be any of those things

I just put two and two together, I have a whirring humming noise coming from the rear of the car, I'm thinking fuel filter. I think that would certainly have an effect on my boost at high rpms or am I just crazy?

Then I have to figure out the tennis ball method and wait until it's warm out, fml.

The tennis ball method is actually pretty simple and can be performed in a garage.

Check out this thread below I've used it many times!
