Hey guys

Im doing a few mods to my car this saturday and i just had some questions for you guys before I started.

Im plasti-dipping my grill/window trim/ and rear valence I searched the DIY's on them so i know what to do. But nobody said anything about if it made a difference if the car can be in the sun or shade? (because my garage is packed full of stuff). Also I know what people are goin to say, but if I did spray the grill on the car would i damage anything behind the grill? and finally I know you just remove the 2 screws for the rear valence and pull but what kind of screws are they?

Thanks a lot guys, any info would be much appreciated.

Here is a pic of my car.

It does not make a big difference between sun and shade. Where ever is convenient for you. I would take off the bumper that way you can pull out the grill and chrome trim and paint it. This way you don't have to worry about getting it on the car or the radiator. The rear valance is held on by two Torx 25 screws.

I plasti dipped my window trim. It was a pain taping it off but a weekend will do it. It took me about 5 hours (with breaks) to do the window trim.

Taping the window trim with shadowline vinyl or even "Black-Out" tape is more efficient than plasti-tipping it (imo).
I'm also planning to take off the grille to plasti-dip that in the near future as well, but good luck to you! :) post the results fo sho
