Impromptu GTG/Canyon Run

Well I'll be leaving Socal in the next couple weeks, and before I finally take off, I'd love to have another
gtg followed by a canyon run... It'll start out the same as last time...We'll all meet at cars&coffee in Irvine, then leave from there. Hopefully we'll get an earlier start this time. I'll try to remember my gopros so I can pickup some video footage from different cars as well. Bring cameras if you can, since I'm not that great with mine...

I haven't picked a route yet...it will be dependent on who all comes out.

can i come?? i've 2/3's the way to an RS4.. i got the S4 part tho.. haha. and Scottsdale is nice. you'll like it out there. just be careful about speeding on the fwy's out there, they have camera's that will send you a ticket if you're 11mph over the limit.. :)

The issue with majesto canyon is that the run is over in 20 minutes, how about Ortega hwy.

Okay, there's an 80% chance of rain... And because I grew up in the midwest and am not afraid of a little rain, this will continue on. Should people not decide to join...that's your call...I'm going [:)]

Below is the route...I spent the last few nights trying to scout out various runs off santiago and ortega and due to rain, c&c will probably be a bust, so I'm thinking of a 7am departure from c&c...it's a little earlier then mentioned, but I'd rather be driving with as little traffic as possible. I'd like to do 6 but then nobody would show up [>_<] The ending point is a nice little photo shoot area on lake elsinore overlooking the mountains. Might get wet, but will make for some cool photos me thinks...

Cars n Coffee is rain or shine, no matter what. Last Friday night it rained and Saturday I was there. There were about 30 cars in the lot (which usually boasts at least a few hundred cars when the weather is better) but still, yet again and without fail, it was worth it because of at least one car. Last week Mercedes was the featured marque, and a Renntech tuned SL65 engine/chassis was mated to a custom one-off 190sl body was the car the of the show.
Will post a pic when I get home if anyone wants.

Blake, I'll give John a heads up that a contingent of Audis will be showing up tomorrow morning.
