View Full Version : A trip to Phil's = A Lil' bit of Low...

Nothing special and Im def not slammed. I got an extreme deal on some Eibach Springs and Bilstein Sport Shocks. And it came out exactly what I wanted, ride quality is as good as stock and wheel gap is gone. Im not tucking any tire or anything, just a very nice conservative drop. This is my first of many mods to come!![:D] Next I will order some rims if I can make my damn mind up... Comments welcome! Sexican I already know "Lower It" LOL[wrench]
EDIT: Forgot to add it was just installed Saturday so it should still settle down a lil more.

Kinda knew ahead of time this was gonna be a point out all mods I need thread, but installer really wanted pics...
As for wheels, if i could make my mind up Id have them already, kinda leaning toward OEM r8 or even R8 reps....
and Xenons are at Phils getn LED'd.....

not worried bout our roads, I just dont like the slammed look.To most people that is a fail, but I dont do things just because the majority likes it. All i wanted was a sporty-er look by eliminating the wheel gap.

Just got a question, when you say, "ride quality is as good as stock" what does that mean? Does the suspension perform as plush as stock, or is it stiffer?? Not so sure I love bouncing down the road on my coilovers anymore... Thanks!!

basically going by the ride quality and not looks, you cant tell anything has been done to the suspension at all. Same feel going down the road, just a lil lower than stock, it does hug the road more in corners though which I like. This is the 2nd set of Bilstein shocks Ive had on a car and I love them... Mydream setup would be the pss9 coilovers but those are bank breakers.

really not sure, thats the only reason I havent ordered yet. One day I like one then the next I like another. Kinda been lookin at the R8 wheels or R8 rep wheels

^def 19s. I think I am gonna pull trigger tonight, worst case I dont like them and sell em. Just not trying to change wheels like shoes, like in my past, I wasted alota money like that on my truck...

i really like the R8 reps with machined face and smoked spokes but kinda weiry of rims from ebay....
