Tyre size

hi guys

Ive just bought a nice B7 2lt quatro sline avant and have got a set of 19' rs4 replica alloys for it. They currently have 235 35's on but ill be dropping the car by 35-40mm and keen to run a little stretch on the tyre. will 215 35's be ok? any imput would be awesome

how wide are your wheels? 215 will probably be too much stretch

I am going with 215's on my 19x8.5 wheels to get a nice stretch

i'd say 215/35 or 225/35 depending on the width of the wheel...

Cool, I learned. I thought 215 would be too wide for 8.5".

ok this is what my wheels are 8Jx19HD

they measure 9' across

if its 19x8 then that means its only 8inches wide

ok kl,so back to my question? 225 or 215?dont want stupid stretch! just somthing smart! there are 235's on at the mo and the edges are pretty square. Thanx guys

a 215 on an 8 would be pretty mild...225 would not be much of a change
