View Full Version : Which OEM Pads do you prefer?
TRW, Pagid, Textar, Other? Anyone have a preference? Also I can't seem to figure out the TRW part number for front pads for my B7 a4 quattro 2.0t

umm, maybe i am not understanding the question correctly, but i thought there was only one oem pad...there are other brand replacements though. I have always been a fan of ebc pads.

Why go OEM? Much better replacement pads out there.
I suppose I don't fully understand but evidently these are the people who supply the OEM pads. I'm reading that aftermarket pads even from the same manufacturers might be different. Basically my OEM front pads lasted 83k miles until the warning light came on i'm looking for something similar with wear sensors.

I have the Hawk HPS w/ wear sensors. Better bite and less brake dust than stock, although I'm sure they won't last quite as long, but if you're at 83k, there's a good chance you won't be replacing the pads again on that car.
