Opinions Needed.

I have an Audi A4 silver and am recently starting to do work on it.I want some opinions on removing the amber sidemarkers and putting on clear ones. http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B7_A4-Quattro-2.0T/Lighting/Side_Markers/ES8111/. these would be my choice. as well as the sidemarkers i was thinking these for the side blinkers. http://www.parts4euro.com/DCShop/product_info.php?cPath=2_47_179&products_id=290 any thoughts? help me out[:)]

I have a silver B6 and it looks much better with ECodes, clear side markers, and use the silver light bulbs that are silver when off and orange when on for all 4 corner signals and the car will look great

Buy the clear side markers from ECS and search "stealth bulbs" to find threads about the bulbs you're looking for.

Alezis93, the "stealth bulbs" that brownishwater is referring to are the Sylvania 7506 silverstar bulbs. The bulb looks silver, but when you actually turn it on, the light it emits is orange. The ECodes are the European headlight housings that do not have the orange side marker reflector in them.

What's not right about what I said, that is the part number for the turn signal bulbs if he wanted to complete the look.

I'm just saying, if you remove the amber side markers that doing the ecodes and corner markers loooks good as well. That's all.

Personally I like the cleaner look of no amber on the vehicle. I think the side markers and smoked side blinkers would look good. My only concern is how light the side markers are. I like to stay consistent, so I'd be concerned about the differences between the white reflectors and the smoked side markers. Personally, I'd make sure those match.

For the headlights, many people take out the amber plastic (this was a DIY for the B6,not sure on the B7) and replace the amber bulbs with silver "stealth" bulb.

lol funny stuff. thanks. i bought the clear sidemarkers from ecstuning and am still considering the crystal smoked side blinkers. i agree with you djs id rather keep it consistent and im not too sure about headlights yet. thanks for the help.
