i plan on painting my factory grille with black plasti dip. but i want to paint the chrome frame like the rs4 brushed aluminum color. any suggestions where i can get the closest color to that? thanks please help

just black out your entire front end except the rings.. it looks sooo good

ummm i forget who just turned their fish scale interior trim into brushed aluminum....he provided a detailed DIY on how to do it.....its not something you can paint, but he pretty much just went with fine wet sandpaper and kept using lower and lower grit until he got his desired look, then he put a clearcoat on it.....not sure how this would work with the plastic chrome tho....i'd imagine u would sand off the chrome entirely if your not careful

what did you use plasti dip paint?

Same, I'm trying to re-plasti dip mine cuz it abunch of it has chipped off..
Just annoyed at having to take off the bumper to get to the grille.. =/

How did it chip off?

You live in "CA" aka California it's always hot haha.

From rocks and stuff.. it was painted black from the previous owner, and he only did one layer i think?! basically a poor job.
So i plan on redoing it with plasti dip soon :)
