Sooo i was going into the engine bay to check out my coolant temp sensor, and i was pullin my air intake sytems off. a pipe broke and some yellow jelly like stuff came out. mind tellin me what it is?/ how to fix it?

Your pictures are not working for me. But it may just be oil/water mix buildup. I get the same crap on the bottom of my oil cap.

eh thats what im thinking. nasty stuff. but it looks like it feeds into the air/fuel mixture. that may not be a good thing? here we go

question: im looking online for a coolant temp sensor. So mine is black, but on parts websites they have like3 blue color or green. does it really matter if theres a different color?

Thanks man. yeah i talkted to NAPA and they figured that out for me.
Would you happen to know what that Broken pipe is? in the secondpicure is where it comes out of.

That is the breather pipe coming off the valve cover. That foamy stuff in the pipe is an oil and moisture mix. Taking a lot of short trips where the car doesn't get to full operating temperature can contribute to that. You can either replace that entire hose system, or just mend the broken part. I like finding a piece of rubber hose who's inside diameter is just the right size to fit over top of the plastic hose. This creates a very nice "coupler" for the broken section.

Cleaning out some of that gunk wouldn't be a bad idea, though.

yeah i think that would be it. gotta get to school real quick in the morning no much time for heat up.
i think ill just get a used hose. no harm done.
