Looks good. Curious about durability. Seems much easier/cheaper alternative to TI trim.

Not sure what he used but I used the shadowline trim kit vinyl and it has been perfect for about 2 years and we get anywhere from 0 to 100 throughout the seasons

can you wax the vinyl? It mights sound dumb, but I wax the OEM rubber pieces to give them that deep black look and was wondering if you have tried waxing the vinyl...

Nah, haven't tried that. I prefer the matte look of it anyways so if it can be waxed I wouldn't do it personally.

not sure how it would react on the vinyl but on the rubber window trim it still looks matte after waxing but ALOT deeper black....kinda like, have you ever cleaned you tires with actual tire cleaner like this THIS (http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Westley-s-32-oz-Bleche-Wite-spray-tire-cleaner/_/N-257l?counter=0&itemIdentifier=552729_0_0_)?you know how they come out so much deeper black, like new....

i used that bleche white on my tires and it's awesome, but if you want a deep black, spray a little "black magic tire wet" on a rag and apply it to your vinyl. that should probably work better. the can says that it is a plastic conditioner. you could give it a shot. plus, it lasts for a solid week, so you can do it every week when you wash you car.

Where did you get the shadowline? Also how much did you need/use for both sides? Thanks

One roll will suffice. If you don't mess up. I couldn't get it on my car flat and eventually gave up.

I actually did this myself last week using the "Black-Out Tape" by Trim Brite. I followed this DIY
http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/148524-Black-out-Window-trim-DIY-(INEXPENSIVE)?highlight=Blackout+trim
I was thinking of going for the bmw shadowline but i didn't want to deal with shipping, and the black out trim was available at my local pepboys.
I think it holds up pretty well so far, but not sure about it say couple years down the road.
Here are some pics

About to put my vinyl on sometime this week, but I was wondering if you apply the vinyl using the wet method, so you get the opportunity to get all of the bubbles out? If so, what liquid did you use? Thanks.

The other day I read in eurotuner 3m makes a vynil tape stuff like the shadowline but you can get it in brushed aluminum and stuff. May be worth it to try out since I don't want to black it out.

Looks good, I did the "Black-Out Tape" by Trim Brite from Pepboys. But the florida heat has go the vinyl warping a little, even on my grill. I plan on using plastidip sometime in the future.

shadowline sucks to take off. the vinyl seperates from the adhesive, leaving the trim with a coat of adhesive on it. i needed goo-gone and 2+ hours to get it all off.
