What do I need to do to convert the projector headlights on an 08 a4 sline to xenon lights?

Oh I thought it was more complex then just changing the headlights.
do you mean halogens to xenons? cause im pretty sure if you have projectors, you have xenons. i think

By projector I mean the yellow sort of light that most cars have . I want to convert to the xenon the blueish ones ?

It seems that there is some confusion betwwen the different headlights installed on the A4 B7 so here is a little guide that should answer most of the questions:
OEM Bi-Xenon

YELLOW ARROW: Bi-Xenon - Bulb Type = D1S
GREEN ARROW: Turn Signal - Bulb Type = 1156 (12V 21W)
BLACK ARROW: DRL (Day Time Runing Light): Bulb Type = 1156 (12V 21W)
RED ARROW: City Light - Bulb type = 158,168,194 (12V 5W)
WHY BI-XENON?
The headlight use the same bulb for Low & High beam. Here is how it works:
This is a picture of the beam housing removed from the headlight. You can see the D1S bulb installed. Also note the grey metal plate in the front.

Same housing, side view: you can see that the grey flap is in contact with the housing: This is the LOW BEAM POSITION

When you select High Beam, via an electro magnet, the grey flap tilts forward: This is the HIGH BEAM POSITION

BLUE ARROW: High Beam - Bulb Type = H7 (12V 55W)
RED ARROW: City Light - Bulb type = 158,168,194 (12V 5W)
GREEN ARROW: Turn Signal - Bulb Type = 1156 (12V 21W)

Step 2. Pull out the credit card
Step 3. Buy the xenon headlights, ballast, bulbs, wire harness, and vag-com
Step 4. Wait for your stuff to arrive.
Step 5. Get in your car and go buy a case of beer.
Step 6. Check your confidence level and patience.
