I've been searching around and can't seem to find pics of a B7 with Swift Motorsport's hide-away plate (whether manual or motorized) on a stock bumper.

I'm in NY and on my 2nd ticket. [:/] I've seen them on aftermarket bumpers and A5/S5's with the bracket hidden in between a lip and the bottom of the bumper/grille.

For instance:

However, I am anxious to see what it would look like simply mounted on the bottom of a stock B7 A4 bumper. Is anyone from a tight-a$$ed state like NY rockin' one with pics to share?

Thanks

If you get one you should put it on a motor that retracts it for you [;)]

They have them, real popular on newer cars.

Swift has both versions if you look on their site... motorized and manual like the video posted. But i don't know how either will look beneath the bumper. I'm afraid the bracket beneath will be noticeable. The nice set-ups i've seen are hidden in between a bottom lip and the bumper so it looks clean.

People do this on bikes too (easier with only one plate). I'm sure if a cop sees you, you will be in world of hurt...

I'm betting it would get effed up in the winter.

Would there be enough room between the s-line bumper and Cupra lip to install the manual option? I'm not planning to hide it but for placement only.

Yeah, I'm worried about that too... that is why I would probably go with the manual as opposed to the motorized. It wouldn't be as much of a loss in the event of heavy snowfall ripping it out from underneath plus installation would be easier.

I'm hoping someone will post a pic of one installed underneath the bumper. It would be nice to gauge how badly it protrudes beneath and in front of the non-s bumper before I make the purchase.

Here's mine, mounted on S-Line bumper. I left the mouting screws *slightly* loose, so that I can slide the entire bracket under when I put it away.
