Ive been gettin this code only when it gets like below 35 degrees.
-P0116- Engine Coolant Temp.Circ Range/Performance.
Could it mean something? or just bad temp.
Ive been gettin it since winter started.

im not exactly sure what kind of coolant i have. i have only had my car for a couple months and im not sure what kind perevious owners used. i got my car from auction.
-hmm, well my engine idles at about 1200 when its warming up and then drops too 900 when heated. is that a good idle?

G12 is a pinkish color. Open up your coolant tank and take a look.

You could always do a coolant flush/ fill, just make sure you use VW/Audi Coolant. Availiable at VW dealers as well as your Audi dealer. Its called G12 coolant. :)

Yeah how much of a requirment is it though? im a broke a$$ high school/college student and i cant use money in places that need them to bad. I dislike gettin stuff from dealers. all their stuff is expensive.

G12 is like $25 for a jug. You are only going to use half of it because you have to use 50/50 g12/distilled water.

It might also be your coolant temp sensor.

You bought an audi so stuff will be expensive.

Sounds to me like you need a new coolant temperature sensor! Check and see what color your sensor is - it is located here:

We have both the blue and the green coolant temperature sensors right here:
