Did a little photoshoot the other day (it's in another thread somewhere on AZ) but wasn't particularly impressed with how the photos came out so I decided to go at it one more time. I think things turned out a little better this time, let me know what you think. Comments and criticism of the photos and the car are always welcome.

Use to have them lightly tinted but I decided to peel em' off, peeled off my windshield tint too. I must be getting old.[:p]

I'm on springs so no more low for me. I actually like my stance though, I'm not a fan of the ridiculously low trend I'm seeing lately, practicality is more important to me.

The good ones were taken by my girlfriend with a D5000, the crappy ones were taken by me with a D40. Haha

I don't mind the curb that much actually. I was going to say you might want to adjust your levels to try and get a little more out of the shadows. I played around a little bit, i hope you dont mind:

By all means. I usually leave the shadows untouched because I think it gives the black car a little "meaner" of a look, but I have to admit what you did does look pretty damn good. [up]

No, no filters or tripods or anything like that, just the cameras and their stock lens.

No, my car is a titanium package so it came with all of those black accents from the factory.

However, I have heard of lots of people having success blacking out their trims with shadowline vinyl, that may be something to look into.

Maybe it's just me, but putting on the shadowline (and doing a GOOD job) is right up there with doing nuclear physics, on a monday, after getting smashed the night prior...

I've never personally tried it. I just wanted to let him know of some other options out there and give him some ammo to search with. Judging from his location I assumed english wasn't his first language so I thought I'd lend a hand so he wasn't searching for "black sticker" and getting no results.

I ordered a roll and tried to put it on myself. I used about 1/3 of it and it looked awful so I ripped it off. tried the other 1/3 and it looked better, but still no where near anything I would consider keeping on my car.

The last 1/3? Trashcan.

Damn, I've heard people who absolutely swear by it. Patience seems to be key when applying it.

I tried to keep some red and silver accents to keep it from getting that true "murdered out" look. Saying that, I'll probably move to gunmetal wheels on the next go around, lighten things up a bit.
