So after the most unpleasant spring install I've ever done in my life, I managed to fit Tein S Tech springs with the b5 spring seats on OEM sport struts in the front. Have to say, the results are phenomenal. Thanks mda0428 for hooking it up with the springs! You da man! I'll let the pics speak for themselves [cool]

The back and the front have EXACTLY the same amount of wheel gap, even though it may not look like it in the pics.

Gotta have a little funk in your life ja?

Ride height looks great, though I wonder how long those OEM struts will hold up.

I think they should last quite a long time. The drop isn't even that extreme the backs were very low to begin with and half an inch of drop in the front has to do with the lowering caps, which don't affect the duration of the shocks at all.

Looks great. Any more photos stepping back a little further? How's the ride quality compared to stock?

Looks good! Not too much to make daily driving difficult, but enough to notice the difference.

I'm sure finishing that install job felt good!

I'll get some good pictures when I borrow my buddy's slr tomorrow. It's a little more rough/bouncy, but the improved handling they give paired with the RS4 sway bar is worth it.

"FUNK" means radio in german. This button is from the european b7 a4 avant police car and operates the 2 way radio by interrupting the audio. Since I don''t have a two way radio in my car, I used it as a mute button for my hardwired radar detector. The box to the top right of the lettering blinks green when there is an incoming radar system and will start blinking less/more rapidly based on how strong the signal is. It's so OEM it's not even funny. By far my favorite mod

Yeah replaced all 4 springs. Unfortunately the B5 caps only fit on the front. The rear is a completely different (and annoying) suspension setup that has a rubber cap below and above the spring. The rims are 18" and I had s-line suspension before.

once the springs settle they will sit lower. i have neuspeed sport springs and lowering caps and my ride height is a little lower than yours. the front tires tuck just a little bit, but my rear seems to sit a little higher than yours

with 18" winter setup

^^I really hope they do but I kind of doubt it. I bought the springs used with 5k so will they go through the whole settling process again? I would love moar low. And it's funny when I first set the car down on the lift the fronts were just how there are now but the backs were higher than what they were stock! I was srsly about to cry lol. But not even an hour later they dropped what must have been an inch and a half.
