Well here's a GB going on them! (http://www.passatworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=176188)

some german company has a module that ties into your turn signal relay to give it the 3, 5 blink like the B6> cars do

02< turn signal only goes to one position when you try move up and down of the switch (and it stays there until you make the turn).

In the B6 models (not sure when it starts, but my sister's 04 definitley has this feature). You can 'tap' it up and down, which does not go all the way to the lock position. Once its tapped, the signal will blink a few (3) times. I believe this is mainly for use of making lane changes.

my friend has it on his 2002 a4 its called by the dealer a "courtesy clicker", i only click once when i lane change so i dont need 2 extra blinks when im already in the lane!! haha

Its a nice option but at $70 I can think of better things to spend my money on right now.

I never use my signals.
