So i'm replacing the block on a 1.8t i just bought recently, and found this pipe and cylinder are broken. What are they and where can i get them? i need them soon.. thanks!
The pipe goes into that black plastic cylinder that is attached to the block.
Found the breather tube online.. but its expensive! does anyone have one in NJ i can pickup? or shipped to 08889 i have paypal ready. need both the black plastic cylinder it hooks into, and the breather pipe.

I think I paid around $50 for it at the dealership

I had that hose snap where its melted together. I just fabbed one up with 4$ worth of items at a hardware store, hasn't leaked since.

As for the the breather box assembly (which the breather pipe snaps into), it is also some pricey plastic. Audi part number 037-103-772B:

EDIT: GAP has it for $44.64

Just ordered a new one for mine $39 at germanautoparts.com I didn't manage to mess up the breather box getting it off like you did.

crank case breather.

Go with the adapter and insert a catch can instead of purchasing that hose again.

Remove the problem and upgrade yo shit.

Looks like you need a coolant flush too.
