View Full Version : B6 to B7 Red Flags and service issues?

Hey guys- I feel like Im treading on unfamiliar territory here...but I want to move from my B6 to an identical B7- a 2.0T Manual with Quattro. Are there any gremlins that pop up? What mods should I get to make it similar to what I have now(revo flash and Thermal Race). Love these cars, as a matter of fact, Im probably going Red on Black...exactly the same. Thanks gents!

hahaha- yea, Im assuming they are the same things, TB, CPs, etc..

read the sticky at the top of the page....the one that says "for people who are new to this forum page" (the b7 new member guide)
that should answer a few of your questions
camfollower, DV, coil packs, n80, PCV <**- all are parts that fail commonly among our cars but there are more then enough threads with plenty of issues talking about everyone
chips are the same way and a chip and an exhaust (hfc) would make it comparable to what you had on ur old car
